The highly acclaimed film of the stage play “What About Those Promises” goes back to the time of the signing of the Point Elliot Treaty of 1855, where members of the Lummi Nation Indian Tribe traveled by canoe to Mukilteo to meet with Washington Territory Governor Isaac Stevens. It asks "What about those promises?" made by the United States government to a people still struggling to exist in a way consistent with the beauty of their ancestors, and features tremendous Coast Salish talent, such as Gene Harry, Ramona Morris, Tom Sampson, James Smitty Hillaire, and Robert Muzzy.
Scheduled to appear. This event is included in the cost of admission.
