Help us honor our veterans on #GivingTuesday, November 28, 2017!
This year, the Hibulb Cultural Center, through the Tulalip Foundation, is participating in #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving. All funds raised from our #GivingTuesday campaign will go to the Tulalip Veterans Quilt Project. Our goal is to raise $1,055 to make seven lap-size quilts for Tulalip veterans. In this season of thankfulness and giving, please join us in thanking and honoring our veterans!
The Tulalip Veterans Quilt Project started in 2016 with the aim of making quilts for all of the Tulalip veterans. Blankets, including quilts, have long been a traditional gift demonstrating honor and respect for the recipient. The quilters made fourteen quilts in 2016 and 2017, which were presented to the oldest Tulalip veterans at the Hibulb Cultural Center’s annual Veterans Day Gathering of Remembrance and Honoring. The quilters would like to keep the momentum going by making seven more quilts in 2018 and they need your support!
The Tulalip Foundation is dedicated to empowering the wellbeing of the Tulalip Reservation and the surrounding community. The Tulalip Foundation is pleased to partner with the Hibulb Cultural Center and Natural History Preserve to accept donations on its behalf.

#GivingTuesday is a global giving movement that has been built by individuals, families, organizations,
businesses, and communities in all 50 states and in countries around the world. Occurring this year on November 28, #GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (in the US) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday to kick off the holiday giving season and inspire people to collaborate in improving their local communities and to give back in impactful ways to the charities and causes they support. We invite you to join the movement and to get out and give this November 28th.
